Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Blount make an absolute powerhouse duo, forming the band The War and Treaty. Michael taught himself to play the piano on a piano in one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces. No, seriously. Read about it here. He tried performing as a solo artist for a while after leaving the army, but realized he needed an equally powerful female vocalist to bring out the balance. Enter Tanya Blount. They began making music together, soon fell in love, and got married. The love they have for music and for each other couldn’t be more apparent.
