The Other End’s debut single, Far From Home, is something to behold. Rarely does a group come out of the gate with such a haunting presence and sound. Ida Knoph-Solholm’s voice will be resonating in your mind hours after hearing the track. At points, the backgrounds grow to cacophonous levels that feel like a different song, and they theoretically shouldn’t work. Somehow it does. The smooth guitar picking and the discord behind it play off of each other to really compliment Ida’s rich tone.
